Ashford Communities currently owns and manages over 5,370 units in 23 apartment complexes, mainly in the Houston and Austin areas, and has over 200 full-time employees. It was founded and remains owned by Ash Kumar. Ashford Communities has been focusing on Class C & B apartment complexes that mostly cater to value-oriented residents. This depth of experience has led to a unique understanding of how to best provide to this segment, including marketing, leasing, and maintenance.
